Things to Do

Offering over 64,000 square feet of fun, the Miller Activity Complex is one Castle Rock’s best-attended community centers. With a two-story recreational facility and endless activities for all ages, the complex is also home to four 25-yard lap lanes, batting cages, party rooms and play structures for kids, full-size indoor fields, a trampoline center with 16 trampolines, an indoor pool, and lounge area with a fireplace. Guests can rent the space for private parties or meetings and attend many programs held throughout the year. 
 
The Incline at Castle Rock is a .6 mile loop that begins with a 200-foot step climb up Challenge Hill to the very top of a promontory. A great workout with moderate difficulty, the Incline is a top destination for nature lovers and exercise enthusiasts and offers beautiful views of Pikes Peak in the distance.
 
Grab your hiking shoes and enjoy the gorgeous views of Cherry Creek through the Castlewood Canyon hiking trails. Ranging from .5 to four miles, the trails of this state park wind through varied terrain and offer rest stops, a natural amphitheater, and picnic areas. The dam broke in 1933, sending a 15-foot wave into Denver — hikers can still see visible remnants of the historic homestead located along the trail. 
 
Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course and Plum Creek Golf Course offer excellent ranges set along the backdrop of stunning landscapes and spectacular views.
