JOINT AGENT: Here one or two agents are jointly instructed by a principal to act on his behalf. In the case of real estate agents, this is normally on the basis that if any one of the agents affect the sale, letting or other agent(s) will share the remuneration in agreed proportions.
JOINT TENANCY: The holding of an estate or property jointly by two or more parties, the share of each passing to the other or others upon death.
JUNIOR LIEN: A lien on a different loan involving the same property that is placed after an earlier placed lien.
