GENERAL WARRANTY DEED:  A warranty deed or quit claim deed transfers title or ownership of real property.  When a buyer purchases  property, the buyer usually receives a warranty deed from the seller which shows transfer of ownership.

GARDEN LEVEL (OR GARDEN LEVEL BASEMENT):  A term for a home or apartment that isn't truly basement level but aren't on the first floor either.  If you are standing in a garden level unit, you can expect the windows to be at street level.

GREAT ROOM:  The heart of a home built with an open floor plan, where a single space contains the living room / family room as well as the dining room.
